This weekend after dewinterizing our 5ver, I noticed that the cooling fan on our Magnetek Converter, 45 amp, Model 7345 did not come on. In the past it seemed to cycle on and off on a regular basis. Does it seem that something might be amiss???????????

The cooling fan cycles based on the amount of heat the converter is putting out. A simple way to check the fan's thermostat is to turn on every 12 volt light and 12 volt appliance possible to load the converter down. This should heat it up to the point where the fan needs to come on to cool it. We have a magnatec 7xxx converter in ours and the fan only comes on under heavy demand for 12 volt.
