Motoraid water heater

Am wanting to bypass or disconnect the water heater function. My cabinets are soooo hot, because the water heater is soooo hot from the engine water. I am sure that I could disconnect the hoses at the engine, however, I would loose my rear heater.
This is on a Itasca 26P. Someone said they found a bypass on theirs but I can't find one.
Any help on this would be appreciated. I am afraid it is going cause problems with the water heater itself.

disconnect the engine hoses from the heater, Place a 1/2" splice connector between the 2 hoses clamp both sides, you are done
