Need 1000W PSW w/Passthrough

This will be for a new 10CF residential fridge. I don't want to spend more than the fridge costs. Thanks.

I would like to use this inverter to replace my converter/charger and wire a output 110v circuit to the fridge. Inverters will do all that, right?

I'm not an expert. But my thoughts.

Has your converter/charger failed?

If not, then you only need to buy an inverter to run the fridge.

1000W inverter will run the fridge, but confirm with the manufacturer that it will run the fridge. Ask me how I know this.

Or you could buy a 2000W inverter for a few more pennies, and run the fridge and a whole bunch more stuff.

If you need an inverter that also has a converter/charger, then that's a whole new animal, and it will definitely cost a way more than the fridge.

Thanks. It's only an 11cf unit so I am pretty sure a 1000w inverter will be fine. I'm going to use a PSW model, probably xantrax. Due to location, the only thing it will be power will be the fridge.

There is no reason to get rid of the converter as it is separate from the inverter in both form and function.

Ok. But my advise, for what it's worth, still stands. Verify with the manufacturer of the inverter that it will run the fridge.

How do I know? I bought a 1000W psw inverter to run our 10cf fridge. It wouldn't start it. Couldn't refund the inverter because I had already installed it.

Just another lesson I learned the hard way.

The converter is likely under powered so to upgrade to a Inverter with one makes sense, they have higher amps.
Keep the old one as backup or sell it.

For a few $$ more look at a 1500-2000W and run the whole coach except AC.

I'm looking at the Cotek brand now a lot of off the grid solar guys use them good price point also.

A 1000W will run the fridge I'm certain
