Need advice on inverter setups

We recently bought a 2004 Tiffen P Class 27.5 ft class A. It has a 1350 watt converter, a 4000 watt Onan generator and two 6 volt Interstate house batteries rated at 232 Amp hours each. We would like to run our TVs off of the batteries to finish our movie watching after "quiet time" at the campground. We have the following loads:

TV1: Sony Bravia LCD 135 watts
TV2: Insignia 75 watts
CD/DVD player 2.2 Amps at 12 volts or 26.4 watts

That comes to about 240 watts. Add a light or two. We might use the setup for a couple hours and would likely use only one TV most of the time.

Will we need to add batteries? What inverter should we consider?
What distribution system wiring will I have to add?

Thanks for your help!

Here is a great webpage that allows you to calculate your requirements.

I wouldn't rewire anything, rather, I'd find a way to run the existing circuit(s) off the inverter.

My knight, which came with an inverter, has most of the convenience circuits running off it (it has an automatic bypass for shore power)

The old pace arrow I had, I added an inverter, and used it to power an existing circuit that ran to most of the coaches outlets as well as to the entertainment stuff up front.

I used it mostly for the kids to watch movies while running down the road. The cheap 800 watt inverter was much happier on 13.5 volts than on 12, it had a hard time with the main engine off.

your existing batteries would be flat before the movie was over, are you sure about those loads?
