New Member from SC - Norcold Questions

Howdy, We have been RVing since 1988 and we are on our 5th RV. We just purchased a 2005 Newmar Kountry Star 37 ft. This is the biggest and probably the nicest one so far. I love everything about it except the refrigerator. It is a Norcold 1200 that had the recall. It doesn't half work and I plan on repair or replace. I would love any experiences or opinions of what route to take. We started camping with our kids and now they have RVs and we camp with our grand kids. Our motorhome is home base.
We live in SC between Columbia and Greenville. It is about 3 hrs to the beaches and the mountains.

Congrats on the new rig! If the fridge has adequate capacity for your needs I would look into replacing the cooling unit with one of the compressor-type from JC Refrigeration. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!
