New Xantrex RS-3000 and Control Panel

Back in 2007, I had an idea to integrate a inverter based home generator backup system. Avoiding concept and worthless details, I had purchased a bunch of parts toward that system, including Xantran RS-3000, System control panel, Automatic generator start module, DC breaker panel and high output alternator. I recently found that some of that equipment was used in RVs, hence my inquiry. None of the equipment was ever connected or energized. I have listed it in your classifieds, but I thought I would ask for suggestions.
My only use for it would be run a fancy espresso making in my car and that is spending lots on batteries for convenient coffee on the road.

Is it useful for your industry(rvs) or have the newer designs made this giant obsolete.
