Welcome to iRV2 .
Do you have over 1/3 tank of fuel .
Genset fuel pick up is set so it can't run the tank dry.

Welcome to the forum.
You are joining a good group of folks here with good information to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up or add information if you can. Sorry I can't help with the generator problem other then not enough fuel in your rig tank or kink in the fuel line.
Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

When you say it runs but no fuel. Do you mean that it will start but not stay running? Or do you mean it will crank but not even start?
Besides the above suggestions, you might want to make sure the fuel filter is not the problem. If it is plugged you won't get fuel.

Is your Rexhall a gasoline or diesel engine. Also, is the generator gasoline, diesel or propane fueled? I ask because I had a 1997 coach that was diesel engine but the generator was liquid propane fueled.

1997, it's likely due to have the fuel line replaced.

I just replaced the electric fuel pump on my 26 year old generator. $50.
The generator would start, but die after a couple of minutes.

The generator has a small electric pump mounted on it. The inlet hose goes to the fuel tank, the outlet to the genny carburetor. There should be a fuel filter on one side of the pump or the other. Is it clean and passing fuel?
Take the hose off and substitute a short length of hose that is dipped into a old 1-quart oil jug that is 3/4 full of fuel. Does it run with that fuel source?
If not, check the electric pump.
If it does, check the fuel line.
If the filter is on the inlet side of the pump then it might have an air leak and therefore be sucking air instead of fuel.
I had a weathered fuel line that had a number of tiny cracks. The genny would run at idle (minimal suck from the pump) but the cracks would leak air into the line if the genny ran to make power (higher level of suck).
I ended up replacing the genny fuel line which solved the problem.
