It can, but that is really a rarity.

True story: Trooper wondered why I had the HEVAC system running in the radio room (Trust me it was needed) "Do you know how cold it is out there?" (we are indoors with several hundred watts of computer hardware, well over 1,000 wattts, closer to 3,000 watts) I told him it was a heater as well as a cooler.. Well it's blowing cold air.. I told him it's blowing 72 Degrees.. he failed to believe me.. I handed him a thermomemter.. It was 72

I find the air from my Furnace vents is not hot like the house furnace, but is is warm. If you measure it it will be warmer than the inlet temp, but due to the air speed IT FEELS COLDER. But you need to measure the temp to be sure.

Also the cycle is blower on.. pause.. HEat on... Head off.. Long pause.. Blower off.

I wanted to measure the vent temperature but could not locate my infra red thermometer. Anyhow, I went to RV dealership and they tested the board to be faulty. I bought a new board and will test it when I get home.

I installed the replacement board, and it works. Thanks Steve for the help, and all others who pitched in.
This is what I bought, from the local RV dealer.

The reason I told you the board rather than the whole list you found is the manufacturers always list every possibilities. Some of those things can't happen unless a bus ran into your furnace and some of them are so rare you will never see them in the field. They are only theoretical possibilities.

What makes troubleshooting hard is not coming up with a list of things that could possibly cause a problem, it is knowing the probabilities.
