My suggestion would be to put a proper sized wire nut on the end of the wires....individually of course, wrap some electrical tape around the wire nut and onto the wire, and call it a day. The other option would be is that if you have a need for another 12VDC circuit in the area, use that circuit to power it, as long as the circuit wiring is sufficient for the new 12V load...both the wires and the fuse size.

While the refrigerator is out, install a 12v USB outlet on the wall. Use the 12v wires to power it. Now you have a built in phone charging station. I just purchased USB rechargeable flashlights and they are great. Can't have enough USB outlets.

Great idea! I could kick myself for not thinking about that when I swap my Norcold with a residential refrigerator.

The refrigeration should be on its own circuit. If you are capping the wires, I would also pull the fuse.

Mine wasn't. It was part of the "General Purpose Galley" circuit which included 12 volt lighting.

Once again the RV MFG Strikes!

Norcold/Dometic have instructions in the 'Installation Manual' for DC Supply be from a dedicated filtered source

Course FEW RV MFG have/use the available Installation Manuals which spell out AC/DC Power requirements, clearances, ventilation, airflow etc etc etc

And folks wonder WHY their absorption fridges struggle

Cap them, tape them and tuck them somewhere.
The next owner may want to convert back to gas/electric.

No reason to pull the fuse, If a short happens, the fuse will blow.

Just snip off the bare wires and crimp two butt connectors on the ends! It won't matter about the other ends of the butt connectors being open as they won't short out against anything! Secure the wires to something with a zip tie!

Like I did use them to install a diesel heater under the fridge and remove the propane hog furnace. This is assuming you don’t have an aquahot.

Initially I capped mine off. I later installed a macerator pump and tied into these wires to power it.
