Anything is possible. Had a friend who when he had his recall work done they forgot to reconnect the 12 v to his fans. Lost his cooling unit. Went ran and ran with the service center. He put in an Amish cooling unit and they split the unit cost.

Take it back to where you had you recall done and make your best argument.

The icemaker runs of 120 vac. Depending on your coach...

My old pace arrow had to be plugged into shore power, or genny running, to make ice.
My new Knight runs the icemaker from the inverter, and makes ice all the time, as long as the inverter is on.

There will only be power at the solenoid for a few seconds right after the harvest cycle.

Is there power to the icemaker itself? Does it try to run through its cycle, but it is just never letting water in?

The only possible thing I can think of that could connect your problem to the recall is if the technician accidentally bumped (or removed and forgot to replace) the 120V plug for the icemaker or one of the other 120V wires. The recall only involves the 12V circuit.

12 volts is used to power the water solenoid to fill the ice tray. The 120 volts is used to heat the ice tray during the harvest cycle to release the ice cubes from the tray. I think it powers the motor used to dump the cubes too.

The ice maker is 120 vac, that includes the solenoid for the water valve for the ice maker. Insure that you have 120 vac at the receptacle, the ice maker is plugged into it, the freezer is at good operating temperature, the water to ice maker is turned off. I say turned off so that you can control as to when the solenoid will be energized. After you are sure everything is ready to test the voltage at the solenoid. Turn the ice maker on and go outside to check for voltage to the water valve solenoid coil. It will take a couple of minutest for the ice maker to go through harvest and then call for water so be patient. Good luck and let us know what you find.

If you have water dispenser through the door, you could have a 12vdc coil on that water valve. It will also have a 5/16" line.
