Good luck with your Amish Cooling Unit.

Just so you know there have been owners who have switched over to the Amish unit only to have it fail sometime later. If you search around the forum you will discover this fact.

So nothing is bulletproof.

Did a search did not find what you wrote about Amish cooling unit for Norcold refrigs. Anything would be better than origional No-Cold unit. Only my opinion...
What problems did you find? Now that I've changed out a unit and how easy can do it again if Amish stops working. However, they do have a great 10 year warranty.

No LUCK needed with my Amish cooling unit thank-you!

I had just been reading some threads on the Amish cooling units and most if not all look positive to me. I saw one post where a guy got a tour of the plant and was rather impressed. Another mentioned the fact that the Amish cooling units are even heavier than the Norcold cooling units.

I purchased a fan from RV Cooling Units, the place where I had purchased our Amish cooling unit. Looking to see if I could pull 12VDC inside but looking like I'll have to run a power line to the rear. The fins are grounded.
