Norcold 1200 W/ Amish CU Intermittent Fuse Blow

I have a Norcold 1200 series fridge I had upgraded to an Amish cooling unit in November of last year. It cools great on AC and pretty well on LP, but when I run it on AC it will blow the glass fuse on the circuit board every 5 days or so. When the fuse blows, a replacement fuse will also blow if I try it within a day or so. However if I wait 3 or 4 days, the replacement fuse will hold just fine for a few more days and then the cycle starts again.

I've driven the coach when the fuse was holding and it was good when I got to my destination about 100 miles away. After a couple of days with the coach not moving it blew the fuse again. Since it does not appear to be vibration related, I'm thinking that it might be condensation collecting somewhere behind the food storage \ freezer part and arching to ground when enough moisture collects.

After reading a similar thread (but not an intermittent problem), I unplugged the ice maker but that didn't fix the problem.

Has anyone either experienced or heard about this type of problem?

BTW - New elements were installed when the cooling unit was upgraded.

You might drop David Force at an e-mail and ask him. He is a great resource on Norcold troubleshooting and helped me a couple of times in the past after I installed my Amish unit.

Other than the heating elements and the icemaker, there shouldn't be anything on the 120v side of the control board. There isn't any 120v wiring inside the cabinet, only the 12v control circuits and light. It's always possible that one of your elements is drawing too much current, or has an intermittent short.
