norcold 1210 fridge

Hi everyone, the fridge works normal on AC and the LP works when the trailer is plugged into power.
Once the power to trailer is disconnected and is on 12volt supply only the fridge will not fire up on LP. Although it sparks trying to lite but no flame. I know there is LP flow because LP works on AC.
The mother board was replaced and still have the same problem, what are the odds that 2 mother boards have the same issue. There is 12volts at the mother board.
Why isnt the gas valve opening on 12volt to allow LP flo?

12VDC to circuit board but what is the voltage to Gas Valve when spark electrode is firing?

When on Shore power you have strong DC but when just on battery???

When just on battery there is 12volts to mother board. When it sparks only twice there is 0 volts at the gas valve.

You have weak batteries....either not be charged or not able to hold a charge
*Suspect not able to hold charge

Have tried 2 different fully charged batteries, also connected a fully charged 3rd battery to 1 of them, technically now a 24 volt. No luck.

If you applied 24 volts to the fridge and other stuff in the RV you will be buying a new fridge control board and a lot of other stuff...

The 2 12 volt batteries will not damage anything, it is simply providing a very strong 12volt supply.

First, to clear up something, your fridge does not run on propane if plugged into shore power. It uses an electric heater.

You stated you know there is propane flow when on AC because it works, but that's not true. The propane is not used on 120 volts.

I'd say you have a propane supply issue.

Yes, if wired in PARALLEL.

If wired in SERIES to make 24 VDC, you just "let the smoke out"!

As you can see, your mention of 24VDC scares us!

Interesting, trailer is running on shoreline power and fridge mode is set on AC.

When I change the mode setting to LP is it not now running on LP? even tho shoreline power is still connected.

Fridge in AUTO
AC Available...fridge runs on AC (priority)
AC NOT Available....fridge swaps to GAS

Fridge on AC Manual....runs on AC
Fridge on GAS Manual....runs on GAS

On Shore Power,,,,,Fridge in LP Manual,,,,,,runs on GAS
DC is supplied by Converter (not batteries)

Not on Shore.....Fridge In AUTO or LP Manual....runs on GAS
DC supplied by Batteries

IF runs on GAS on shore But not on Batteries...battery issue NOT fridge issue

Confirmed batteries are healthy and strong. And 14.20 volts at battery,

12.80 volts at fridges mother board/power board.

No shoreline power not connected.

Is Fridge in AUTO Mode?

OR Is Fridge in LP Manual Mode?

Try it in AUTO/No AC
Try it in LP Manual

Does it NOT run on GAS in either mode???

*runs on GAS in LP Mode connected to Shore but Doesn't when NOT connected???
