Norcold 9162 won't work on gas

My Norcold in my '98 Winnie doesn't light. The igniter sparks, but apparently no gas flow. The gas valve solenoid has 12 volts to it, the spark works, so am I pretty safe to assume the valve is bad?? Prices I've found for the valve are from $150 -- $200, so I don't want to spend unnecessarily! Any other possibilities anyone can suggest?? Refrige works great on 110 v.

Thanks, Lee

Do you have gas at the stove? Do you have a full tank of fuel?
