Norcold ice maker

I just replaced the ice maker in our two door norcold frig. I checked price on the part # of ol unit at RV parts over$200 I purchased a whirlpool ice maker at Lowes for 49.95 Same unit but you will have to remove the short adapter plug from the new unit and plug in the four wire plug from frig. Also remove the small plastic mount from the bottom and replace with the metal suport from the old unit.tested and working fine

Yes, these are Whirlpool ice makers installed in the refrigerators. Nothing special about them, but how they are mounted for the design of the freezer compartment.

I did the same thing for an icemaker in our home refrigerator once. All I had to do was splice the old plug onto the new icemaker. All the mounting holes were the same. The old solenoid was still good, so I didn't bother to change it out, and I saved the one that came with the new icemaker as a spare.
