Norcold model 9162 fridge requires new eyebrow

Hi, I am a brand new member here and have a question.
Our 1997 4 Winds has a Norcold 9162 fridge that works intermittently . The thermistor, power board and ignitor have been replaced and work fine. The dealer has advised that the issue lies with the eyebrow Norcold part # 625386 which is no longer available and we'll need a new $2000 fridge, if they can fit it through the door. The issue is that this is an old RV that we rarely use and I was looking for an alternative for the #625386. Given all the eyebrows out there there must be another unit that fulfils the same electrical function. Even if I have to make some cabinet modifications to make it fit. So my first question is ...any ideas about an alternate eyebrow. And secondly, anyone have a circuit diagram for the part # 6253868, or #618588 ( which is the existing unit) or #625386,or # 627387 which are supposedly also replacement part numbers. Thank you.

Sorry but those were discontinued back in 2009

Modifying another model .... probably wouldn't communicate with lower circuit board

Thank you, that sounds like a useful resource. I am hoping that the functionality of these replacement or newer eyebrows are pretty similar. There are only very few parameters that they measure and control. A RV fridge is pretty simple. I am still hoping that I can get a circuit drawing of any of the units mentioned in my posting, which would be a great help in trouble shooting my system. thanks again

Not much available for the wiring of upper OR lower circuit boards

Many models when replacing upper board you have to replace lower board with compatible circuits so they can communicate with each other

Your OLD model does NOT have any replacements available OEM or after market (Dinosaur Electronics)
