Question Norcold Refrigerator door makes loud creak when opened

We had a new Norcold 1210IM installed to replace our old 1201LRIM. New unit is under factory warranty.

The left refrigerator door makes a loud creaking sound every time we open it. The right door doesn't make noise, but sometimes it will not open unless the left door opens first.

The small storage latches on door handles slide back and forth, but do not seem to make any difference in door function.

The problem started immediately after installation by La Mesa RV in Fort Myers, FL. Service writer recorded problem in their system, but told us it might go away after using it for awhile.

I have already reported issue to Norcold. They told me to take to a Norcold service center for diagnosis. Being full timers traveling in rural south, this is easier said than done.

Have you experienced this problem? If so, what was outcome.

Make sure the door shelves aren't loaded up with very heavy objects far from the hinge side. Have you tried a little spritz of silicon spray on the hinge? I always keep a silicon and WD 40 type sprays in the RV to keep things moving and quiet.
