Our Samsung went on through a side window http://www.irv2.com/forums/f54/new-f...dow-93522.html
We also went round and round with the old Norcold. I'm not sure the Amish units were available then or I had not heard of them. It was always one more thing wrong until we gave up and went to the residential fridge.

Our Samsung was brought in through the windshield (one side of a split windshield, anyway). The installer hired a "windshield guy" to come to the shop when he was ready to remove the Norcold from the MH and put the Samsung in. The windshield was taken out and reinstalled in the same afternoon. We've had no leak issues in the ~6 years since.

It's 9 c. Ft. Around 7 for the fridge and 2 for the freezer. Specs say it uses 5 amps a day ? All I know is it hasn't made a difference on my batteries or charging times. It just works! Check out their site...

When I was contemplating the change to a residential unit, the Amish units came out and people were ranting and raving about how well they worked. I waited several months to see how the Amish units fared and they soon started to fail too. That was it, I replaced mine with a Samsung.
The decision to change to a residential unit was the best one I ever made. You never hear about anyone who wished they hadn't gone to a residential unit.

How do they get the Samsung into the coach? Isn't the entry door on a Diesel Pusher too narrow?

I just found out that the Samsung RF18 with the doors removed will go through my front door with about 1/2" to spare! The passenger seat would have to be removed and a couple of healthy weight lifters recruited to get it in there!

As previous posts in this thread have stated, it comes in through side window (as did ours), windshield or front door. Depends on the coach!

Same for me, remove the Samsung doors and the frig fit through the side door. My side door just goes into the open area, so it was easy. Did the same removal of the doors on the Notcold, both to ease getting it out of the cabinet opening, and also to get through the door.

I would remove the POC and try a residential. Trust me you won't regret it other than not having done it sooner.
BTW, I like freezer temps of -4 to 0 and fridge temps of around 36-37. My Samsung delivers those constantly.
