Norcold won't come on

Just got to Ft Wilderness and the four door side by side Norcold won't work on either LP or AC. Can't find fuse labeled "fridge"

Hi Jay
The 12 volt fuse is in the rear of the unit accessed by the outside panel in a small back box. The electric side has a circuit breaker. Is it showing any codes on the front panel ? We can move this to Rv systems if you like.

Seems fixed. Someone suggested placimg a magnet over the red led on the control box behind the fridge. That worked!

Thanks to all that offered help.

I think that might be the high temperature reset, depending on the age of your fridge. If so, it indicates the fridge detected an over-temperature event. If the fridge was operated off-level when stationary and that's why it overheated it might be damaged. Check it over carefully for signs of yellow deposits around the boiler in the back before using it!

THIS^^^^^

Red Light on Recall Box was key clue.
Red Light on Recall Box indicates DC has been tripped...no DC/frige does not work
Red Light on Recall indicates High-High Temp Switch on Burner Stack tripped........overheated (*700*F--800*F)

False trips do happen if Recall Box gets wet

Norcold Recall Bix

We had rain all night and woke up to the fridge being off. Went out and the recall box shows a red light. Compartment is pretty wet. Ran the magnet over the box but it didn’t pick up. Guess I need to dry out the connections and see what happens. Any other suggestions?

I think the magnet needs to be held in the correct place above the LED for several seconds.

If the little circuit board inside the Recall Box got wet...it tripped and will not reset until dried out

Once dried out, place strong magnet on face of box near top and slowly move it back/forth to reset the reed switch inside
* then reposition Recall Box ---loosen clamp/tilt downward/tighten clamp

Norcold

I did hold the magnet onto the recall box and it finally worked. It just didn’t react the way I recall a few years ago. At that time, the box grabbed the magnet it clicked a couple of times, the magnet fell off and the fridge lit. Anyway, I’m back in business. Thank you!!
