Onan 8k Generator short cycle problem

When on Auto it wants to short cycle about 20 min on and 20 min off. I checked the voltage setting @ 12.5 and all the other settings are at the default.
The book for the Command 30 pretty much says to not change the defaults with out training.
I've been running it on manual but would be nice if auto worked.
Unit is still in warranty but a pain to take it in now.
Any ideas what I can do.

Thanks
pointrow

Is 12.5 your shut down voltage. If so, it should be up around 14.2 or so. Check your battery manufacturer for the exact voltage.

Good luck
