Outside shower to garden hose adapter
I'd like to convert my outside shower to a garden hose instead. I can't remember what size fitting/adapter I need to screw into the shower control to convert to garden hose instead of the smaller rv shower hose.

just a thought...wouldn't it be easier to carry a 'Y' adapter for the post connection?

Yes, if all I needed was cold...and I have one already. I'm plumbing in an outside sink/table combo to use as a kitchen outside so I'd like to hook the garden hose to the outside shower fixture. Thanks.

Here is what I used. Very easy and works great.

The vacuum breaker that the adapter screws onto is very weak. the stress from a water hose pulling on it can easily break it beyond breaking it just installing the adapter.
I put an adapter on mine but attached a coiled boat wash down hose and used a clamp on the end of the hose to take the stress off the vacuum breaker.
if I had it to do over I would just by a wet bay faucet already set up for a hose quick connect or I would retrofit the wet bay faucet to use a outside mixing faucet or separate quarter turn valves with hose connections.
The wet bay faucets are cheaply made and when they leak you can't get parts. Might as well bite the bullet and replace it once.

My outdoor shower was leaking so I replaced with this; the nice thing is the nozzle can be unscrewed and you can add a regular hose so you can get around the rv with hot and cold water. I’m happy
