Owner/ Monaco Camelot Generator Problems

Electrical issue with 8k diesel gen set.
Everything works in coach on shore power.
When gen set is on, only outlets work, no power to panel. Checked ATS 127 volts in and out. Also checked breaker box. 127 volts on all breakers.
My question is, could their be too much voltage that causes the panel to NOt light up.

That's a tough one. Are getting power to both sides of breaker box and both ACs. Sometimes if some shuts off or trips the random breakers used by power panel and EMS it keep an AC from powering due to EMS. Is ATS one of those smart ones.

127v is high and would cause most EMS to remove power, but you state there is 127v to all breakers. That says all circuits are powered. So what panel is it that doesn't light up? And what doesn't have power? Fridge? Water heater?

Also, what year Monaco Camelot is it?

Yeah, you would need to answer Gary's questions before anyone could even take a wild guess at your issue!

Your sure you have an 8KW gen, and not a 10KW, because the 10KW doesn't display any amp draw while the gen is powering the coach.

2007 Monaco Camelot . Everything works on shore power. My question is gen putting out too much power to light EMS panel.
I have a 2000 watt Magnum inverter and surge guard ATS..
I have 127v throughout breaker box.

2007 Camelot , not a smart ATS that I am aware of.
EMS PANEL doesn’t light up to show how many amps are coming into house.

could be

It's possible your panel just bit the dust. Mine blew out last year. Everything still worked, panel just went black. I could tell the signal was still coming from the inverter by touching the panel face. You could feel a slight amount of heat coming from the electronics. Problems solved. Hope that's all you are dealing with.

Panel lights up and works fine when we are using shore power . All of the outlets work on gen. Just wondering if 127v is too much voltage that causes the panel not to light.??

OP,

Did you get this resolved?

If not, try doing a hard restart on your intellitec system. The main brains are part of your main circuit breaker panel.

disconnect all power, shore, generator, solar, inverter. Open up your main electrical circuit breaker panel. On the bottom or side, (some panels are mounted horizontally and some are mounted vertically), is your intellitec system. Remove the white plugs (circled in picture) and the fuse (can't see it in the picture) for a couple minutes. then put everything back together.
