Plumbing Issues & Questions?
I have a Forest River Vibe that has two sewer outlets and three very small tanks. Each tank is 30 gallons and they file up very quick. Below are my questions.
1) Is there anyway to connect the two outlets?
2) Is it possible to swap out my tanks for bigger one's? I always travel with empty tanks.
3) How do you tell when the black tank if full besides the control board? I always dump at 2/3 to make sure I don't get sewer in the trailer. I have a Dometic 310 toilet.

Here is another question. The black tank showed 2/3 this morning when I typed the original post. After flushing the toilet several times since then it is now showing 1/3. This has happened before. I flush the tank every time.
What is happening?

The flushes may have cleaned the sensor if the toilet was unused for a while.
Joining the tanks can be done as long as they are not on opposite sides of the axles.
Our TT has a rear kitchen/ front bath so we have the 2 dump outlets. I have a Y connector but as the dump outlets are 18' apart its easier to just move the trailer up after the black and front gray dump.
It does get people all excited when they think we're done so I always go warn them.

This is how I plan on dumping my tanks today. My black/gray (bath) are right at the sewer connection at my site at the Octoberfest Rally. After I dump them I will back up the trailer until it is close to the sewer connection to dump the kitchen gray. I used the "Y" connection several times and it was a PITA to do. Both hoses where about 15' long with the sewer connection in the middle.

Black tank sensors especially, are notoriously in accurate as splooge can remain after dumping. We have learned to recognize the difference in the flushing sound as the tank fills up. When close we take a flashlight and peer down the hole to see the fluid level from time to time.
We only use our tank for fresh water, only hooking up for a refill. Our tank sizes work well to tell us that when the fresh is low, the others are getting close to full.
We carry 75 gals of fresh and have 37.5 gals on each of the waste tanks. This lasts us 12+ days, me only about 3 weeks. We also use the onboard for drinking/coffee/tea/ice water.

My bath gray tank sensor is now messing up. I am home now and I drained it very good at my last stop. It shows 1/3 tank. I filled it up today to 2/3 and added some of the Geo Method in it. I plan on letting it sit overnight and then drain it. Hopefully it will clean the sensor.

I have resolved my issues by trading in the Vibe for a Grand Design Reflection 296RDTS.

And in a short time the GD will have the same sensor issues. If you can swap out the tank sensor system to a See-Level system you will get better performance.
The cheap systems used by 90% of the vendors are known to have issues.
