Portable Surge Guard from Camping World

Advice needed. My 5th wheel is wired for 50 amp service. I stay at a state owned campground that has 30 amp service and use a 50 to 30 adapter at the post. In the summer, voltage can drop considerably which could create issues with my a.c. and fridge. Will the portable 30 amp Surge Guard protector model # 58464 from Camping World give me any protection? If so, do I select the 30 amp or the 50 amp??????

You should be using a 50amp Surge Protector. It will protect no matter if you are using 50, 30 or 15 amp service. I would suggest one from Progressive Industries, this model to be specific: EMS-PT50C
It will protect from any voltage condition.

Short answer yes but if you have a 50 amp rig I'd get the 50 amp model.

Does this answer your question

Surge Guard should always match RIG, not park.
