Power gear levelers

Here is my problem, my hydraulic levelers broke found the problem is the fluid gear pump inside the unit. I am trying to find a replacement part but having no luck as of yet, does anyone know of a salvage yard that might have some scrap power gear pumps? I know some yards only sell the complete used at new prices (talked to them already) just need the part man.# 800301 lippert wants 450.00 us which in my mind close to half the cost of a complete unit and that includes the hoses as well. Any help or ideas are appreciated, thanks.

Have you checked into having the pump rebuilt? Talk to your local hydraulic shop and see.

Usually it's the motor bearings that fails, they can be replaced by any starter rebuilder because that's what it is. The pump rarely fail because it is immersed in oil.

Update , did go see hydraulic shop , thanks for the idea, was told go see machine shop if they could manufacture the gear for the pump, so went to machine shop in town who could make a new gear and harden it for a little less of what the new pump would cost. So I ended up ordering new pump from lippert. Should be here today. Thanks for the ideas and help people. Keep safe and happy.
