Power Gear slide motor broke
My main slide motor/gear box broke some teeth on a gear. I have the electric Power Gear motor asmy. PN 523900. I'm just starting to search for a new motor assembly and thought I check to see if anyone here has been thru this recently and has any suggestions for price to pay and where to buy.
Thank's
Pat

My bedroom slide out broke some teeth on the Power Gear assembly.
Just replaced the gear. Has a shear pin in it so you have to get the correct shear pin along with a new gear.

Thanks Arch. I was hoping I could fix it with new gears but in this case I'm going to have to buy the motor and gear assembly. This is for the main slideout. I have heard of folks fixing the bedroom slide as you said. Reminds me that I need to get a spare shear pin. So far the best price I can find is between $570 & $650.

Would you please post the link to where you're buying it from. It will help others that may need one in the future.
Thanks

I had mine replaced at
RV Repair, Aftermarket Motorhome Slideout Conversions, Fresno/Sanger, CA
They actually add slides to motorhomes and they had the correct gear and pin in stock.
