PowerGear Hydraulic leveler malfunction

The control panel for the leveling system in my 2004 38N Bounder is malfunctioning. As soon as the engine ignition switch is "on", the leveling control panel power "on" led starts flashing (w/o being touched). The "jacks down " led and the "engage parking brake" led start flashing.
No response from any key. During a recent visit to a truck shop for another issue, the jacks w/n retract. An RV tech was called to manually retract them. Shop techs could not tell me what was done. System broke since then.
Do not want to throw parts at it. Has anyone else seen this panel indication?
p/n on control panel is 140-1226, legacy #500629 This is an IDS 10439C panel built before Lippert bought PowerGear & IDS.

I had problems with mine and I called Power Gear/Lippert. The tech was able to take me through a troubleshooting routine using codes entered into the control panel. He verified that the "brain" was bad. It was located in the basement ceiling. He said that it was obsolete since Lippert replaced the system but gave me the number of the module which I was able to buy online.

I have called them several times for various things and always got help.
