Presure Relief Valve

Hello everybody!!

I have a 1983 Pace Arrow. Yep shes old but a goodie. Valve is leaking very slowly at top. I cant turn it off and i have sprayed it multiple of times.Afraid its going to brake before it spins off. Any suggestion would be helpful.

If you are talking about the water heater's pressure relief valve, you can replace it for under $10. Take the old one to H.D. or Lowes or any decent hardware or plumbing store. IIRC there are two major types, and you should be able to match it easily.

If its not the water heater, you'll have to elaborate further.

If you are concerned about thread corrosion on the valve, they are usually sealed with thread sealer, which can harden. They will usually come loose with more muscle. If you need more help than that, you could try Kroil or another penetrant.
