Problem with my Dometic fridge

Hi all! Thanks in advance for any and all help!
My Dometic fridge is driving me nuts! It runs on propane fine for about 5 hours and then randomly ( it seems to me) it quits and the check light comes on. I turn it of and on 4 to 8 times and it eventually fires back up and runs for another 5 hours or so and does the same thing! It does this in gas mode and in auto mode!
Everything is level and free of blockage at vents!
Has anyone ever had this problem? I have checked the propane tanks and I can't figure out what the problem is!
I am hoping it isn't the control board but I don't know how to test for that!
Added this is while being parked and hooked up to 120 volts . It does the same thing in auto mode but sooner!
Please help if you have any suggestions
Thanks much

Which Dometic...there are 'numerous' models

Check Light is a fault indicating 'failure to light off' OR 'PROVE' flame lit

Spark Electrode is 1st place to start...it provides the High Voltage spark for ignition AND is the the return path for 'flame proving' signal (millamp current generated by the FLAME)
Circuit board MUST see that change in current flow otherwise it will drop DC to gas valve and trigger the 'check light'

Auto...fridge controls swap to GAS if AC Power is Lost (will swap back to AC when power is restored)
GAS....manual selected GAS operation only. (No swapping)

Check spark electrode for soot/carbon...will restrict that millamp signal
*Clean with emery cloth
Check spark electrode gap...too wide/too narrow will cause intermittent ignition (1/8" - 3/16")
Check spark electrode position...should be directly over burner slot and engulfed in flame when it lights off
Check spark electrode wire/wire connection...clean/tight
Check spark electrode ceramic insulator...no cracks and wire should not be loose inside the ceramic
Check Ground connection...clean/tight

If spark electrode is ALL Good.....
then circuit board ignition/valve circuit is bad
New board --- suggest Dinosaur Electronics Board (better quality board at same/lower pricing then OEM)

The electrode both creates a spark to light the burner, and senses that the burner is lit. If either task fails, it will cause the symptoms that you are experiencing, and the run time will become shorter and shorter. The fact that it runs for 5 hours, suggests that the problem is probably not with the control board. Also, the electrode often fails after 4 or 5 years of use.

The electrodes are not very expensive. and are not difficult to replace.

Service Manual covering your model....pg 13/14
Your model uses a 'thermocouple' to prove flame (vs spark electrode...it just does the spark for ignition)
Thermocouple could be sooted/carboned up
Thermocouple connection could be bad
Thermocouple could be bad

That is first place to start

**that is why brand/model are important. Different methods/components used
