Problem with one jack

I have a 2010 Newmar Bay Star. It seems now and again I have a problem with the left front Atwood jack going up. It goes down with no problem. Its an older model system so replacing would be tough. Could it be if its not perfectly level when I park that this one would give a problem.
On another note how hard isi it to manually raise the jack on an over ride.

On our 2007 Newmar Bay Star we had to replace one of the front jacks 2 years ago because 1 of the motor gears had broke. At that time Lippert sold a new replacement jack for the front. Not sure if Lippert has any remaining jacks for the front but I know they do not have any for the rear since one of mine is acting up. The passenger side front jack on mine is also the last jack to fully retract but it eventually does. I have unhooked the jack cable connectors and sprayed electronic component cleaner and used dry lube on the jack leg to reduce resistance.

Still slow but a measurable improvement. The Atwood level leg manual explains how to operate a single leg but I have never been able to get mine to work. I have always blamed the inability to the controller but it could be operator error.

If I experience more problems with our jacks I will replace our system with a Bigfoot hydraulic model since it has individual pumps for each leg thereby reducing the installation challenges .
