I went out to my 5er in storage. Prolly 500 RV's in storage there. Was curious, so started walking around to see how many Victron things I could connect to. Lots of them. Seems everyone's favorite PIN is 000000. Could have really dorked up a lot of folks systems and they wouldn't have a clue what happened.

I'm sure you meant no harm but a security camera could notify movement to a security firm and it would be downhill from there.

I wish my lot had cameras. Just sitting in my trailer I had a CerboGX, two MPPTs and two smart shunts showing up that weren't mine. All with 000000 as the PIN. Kinda misses the point of the PSA. If you have a Victron bit o' kit, change the default factory PIN. Or go look at the cameras after I shut off the BT function. That'll get it working again.

Thank you for the post. I am guessing most of those owner's will not be reading this thread. But for those who do, it may make for a better future experience.

I don't have a connected RV, but I do have a connected home. Next year we plan to host a 6 year old. I have the "changed password" written on the bottom of my routers and things. I will have to remove the labels for a while at least.
