Question About Removing Residential Fridge?

I need to pull out my residential refrigerator from my 2021 Grand Design Momentum 397TH-R. I'm looking for any tips on the best way to get it out.

It looks like the best way would be to first remove the trim at the bottom of the fridge so I could just slide it out, but I'd rather not remove the trim if there is a better way.

thanks
Dan

Unless someone responds that has exactly the same RV unit as yours, we’re running blind.

Pictures would help, but I’ll bet removing trim is necessary. The fridge should be secured quite well in behind, and you’ll need access.

I found a 5th wheel like yours on RV Trader with a picture of the fridge.

My guess is that the trim has to come out. The fridge is probabaly secured in place with the trim and/or the levelng feet are fastened to the floor. Either way the trim would have to come out unless you have a way to lift fridge up and over it but I doubt there is enough clearance above.

Thanks for your input. I agree, it looks like the trim on the bottom will have to be removed so I can slide it out.

There should be rollers on the bottom of the fridge. If the fridge is in a slide I'd suggest pieces of wood or piece of plywood to make the floor even to make it easier to pull the fridge out. You will have to protect the floor you pull the fridge out on, trying to twist/turn a fridge can be a challenge.

While you have it out I'd suggest a good cleaning of the coils either using compressed air or vacuum.

I would also consider removing the doors to make it lighter and easier to handle. Consider how to get it out if you need to replace it.

The residential fridge in a Montana are located in slides that are not flat/ flush slides. I rig up a runway to pull it out onto the floor. Also - I do not have to remove any trim to get to the fridge mount bolts. Grand Designs may be different.
