Questions about ATS 5070 doing upgrade

I'm pretty competent in electrical work. 120, 240, split phase 3 phase but I think one of the reasons I don't destroy much in the process is because I ask what sometimes seems like obvious questions.

Short story on what I am upgrading. I'm installing a Victron 12/3000 2-120 inverter. It is a true 2-line 120v hybrid inverter. It will supply 120 volts to the entire coach within the limits of its 3000 watts.

When I replaced the old Dimensions 2000 watt that quit with the Renoigy 2000 watt it was pretty much a direct replacement. The 50 amp goes into the distribution panel, which has a 30 amp breaker to feed a 30 amp sub panel. That 30 amp subpanel sends a line out to the inverter. When on shore power, the 30 amps pass through the inverter transfer switch and back to the sub panel. When inverting it just supplies 2000 watts to the sub panel.

So when removing the Renogy, I need to tie the in and the out from the Inverter/charger in a box. (or I could get sophisticated and pull the wires and tie it at the distribution panel but since I may want to put it back to its original configuration I'll pass on that for now.) That is simple enough.

Now the Victron 2/120, both 50 amp lines go in, and back out passing through it. It has the ability when on 15-20 or 30 amp to boost the wattage by 3000 watts. This is the real selling feature on a $1700 inverter/charger since I spend most of the year in Mexico on 30 amp.

So to the question. Normally a transfer switch is pretty straightforward. Power in from a shore power cord, a line from the generator, and power out to the coach distribution panel. My question is, out of the bottom of the transfer switch there are some #8 120v wires that go up into the coach. I am assuming they have something to do with the EMS as they run into the coach. I can't see in to follow them but the back of the distribution panel also has multiple sets of #8 wires going to it, along with the 6/6/6/8 main for the 50 amp.

Am I missing anything by just connecting the 30 amp in the electrical bay, eliminating the inverter/charger, and just running the 6/6/6/8 coming from the transfer switch to the new Victron and then on to the distribution panel?

May seem like a simple question. But this is my home and I want to get all my ducks (or wire nuts in this case) in a row before I start on it.
