I have new in-dash stereo that runs off my coach battery and consumes a lot of power when off because face plate has multi-lighting.
I want to run off my coach or house batteries. Reason is consumption could drain coach. Has anybody used a three-way dash switch.
Three position because I'd like an off, coach, or house position selection.
I don't want to have keys in ignition for acc control. This is an RV and I'm not leaving my keys in the ignition.
Any thoughts?

The dash radio in my MH runs off the house batts and has a switch to turn the power on and off. Its a real pain because when you turn the swich off the radio loses memory.

I have a Main/Aux switch for radio. When in Aux position it runs off house batteries and converter. You can also put a small battery across a couple of points on most radios to maintain memory.

Looks like I'll put a three way main/off/aux switch in and live with the memory loss (good point).
I have no idea where to hard wire radio into the house batteries converter/inverter.
