Reception ?'s for new Digital flat panal TV

We purchased a new HD digital flat panal TV for our trailer. Since we camp mostly in more remote areas of Ohio and Western PA. getting an analog signal we would be lucky to get 1 or 2 stations. Even then the reception is fuzzy. We have the standard crank-up Winegard batwing antenna with the power boost button. When were closer to civilization we get all the stations no problem. During the camping off season were using it in our kitchen. With digital signals you either get a good siginal or you get zip. At home we just use rabbit ears.

In the Camping World ad I received this week, it showed a Winegard "Wingman" ad-on ($26.99)that is said to increase reception. I have few ?'s. First, my dealer says yes your 05' trailer's antenna can be used for picking up a digital signal. Is that correct? And second, have others seen a increase or decrease in TV reception? Has anyone bought a Winegard Wingman and received better reception. Granted some of the places we have camped and are going to camp this summer are in remote valleys, so without pulling out my DirecTV receiver from home and hauling a dish. I would never expect to get reception anyway......
