Refrigerator Ice Maker Trouble

Our WHIRLPOOL MF12269FRZ02 Refrigerators ice maker, in our 2018 Tiffin 40 IH
Is leaking down the front left door, overflowing from the drip tray.
The ice maker tray was full of a frozen solid pc of ice. I had to turn off the refrigerator to melt it, in order to remove the ice maker tray. Any thoughts on why that is happening? the temp in the refer was set at 40 degrees. The temp in the freezer was set at 2 degrees. And the both where showing those temps.
Hopefully I am posting in the right place? Still learning how to use iRV2 correctly

If one of the loads of ice cubes failed to "harvest" and dump properly, the next cycle just overflows the cube mold into the tray. If the tray is a solid block of ice, then the freezer is cold enough. There is a heater element in the bottom of the ice mold that's supposed to raise the temperature a bit allowing the ice to dump and that heater may not be working. These icemakers are a known source of trouble and may require replacement. I've had to replace the one in our '17 Phaeton twice already. They're not hard to replace and you can find videos on YouTube that will show you step by step. The icemaker itself is available on Amazon, just search for the fridge model number.
