Refrigerator not switching to propane

Good morning everyone. The refrigerator in my 2016 coachman Freelander won’t switch to propane. Just unhooked from shore power getting ready to leave and refrigerator won’t switch to propane. Any suggestions? Thanks Vic.

Is it only the automatic function not working? Can you manually switch it?

Is propane on & not empty?
Light stove to check for propane flow first.
Are batteries charged? Need 12 volt for circuit boards & ignighrer.
Start with the simple first.

Couple things, 1) can you hear the fridge trying to start on the propane, clicking noises that continue, if so you may need to get to the back side where the propane comes into the fridge and blow it out with air. Dust can accumulate if it has not been used on propane for a while and can prevent proper flow of gas. Spiders also like propane and can cause a blockage, blowing it out does the trick for me. 2) if no clicking sounds then you prolly need to check the control board for input and output power, if power is coming in but not out your board is prolly bad, Dinosaur makes good replacement boards that are more dependable than factory boards. They are very easy for a DIY to replace. If no power is coming in then you need trace back to power supply and make sure fuses/breaker are good.

Got it working. Had just filled propane tank. Air must have been in line.

Question is the fridge an RV unit not residential unit? That would be my first question.

My second question as stated above is the propane on and the tanks are not empty?

The third do you have a fully charge 12V DC house battery?

If it is a RV fridge is the burner, clear of debris such as Mud Dober nest and spiders?

If an RV fridge does the control panel light up when on shore power and not on propane?

Are the coils frosted up on the inside of the fridge?

Also, what is the make and model number of your fridge?

No it wasn't air in line.........LP System is 0.39 psi
When propane is valved out the Main Reg goes into 'lockup'
When you start using propane it can take several attempts to establish flow....especially with fridge, water heater, furnace due to their 'flame proving' circuits

Next time after valving propane in...light off stove top burners on high to place demand on Main reg and establish flow
Still can take couple of tries on fridge....lowest demand appliance
