Replace limit switch on Atwood 8526-III DCLP Furnace

I traced my failing Atwood 8526-III DCLP furnace to the limit switch.

My problem is: how to replace it without removing the furnace, if possible?

I am able to access the back of the furnace, but there the only access panel (on the top) does not reveal the limit switch.

Attached is the wiring diagram and the exploded parts diagram.

The sail switch and limit are in series and I know I can get to my sail switch behind the panel (#8 in your diagram). Not sure if I can get to the limit switch or not. It's hard to believe you can't get to it through the outside access.

Has anyone replaced their limit switch on their ATwood 85-III? Nice to have some actual experience.

Limit switch is installed in Heat Exchanger.

Furnace has to be pulled to access
