We have a Coleman AC unit mounted on the roof of our 1988 Dodge camper van. The roof shroud was badly damaged from a series of storms that we've had here in Louisiana. I removed the roof shroud to try and get more detailed information such as serial number, etc, however the plate information is faded/illegible. The operation and maintenance instructions that came with the camper indicate that the AC is model series 6759. The shroud is ivory in color.

I've had no luck on the Coleman website. It seems that our model number is too old to be carried on their books? Does anyone know the part number, the closest source, and the approximate cost of a replacement roof shroud? Or would I be better off ordering the shroud via the internet and paying shipping costs?

Tom, you should be able to use the 6759 number to get a replacement shroud. You could take a picture of what you have and use it to help ensure the corrrect one. Really there were not that many differant ones for Coleman; unlike Dometic brands. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your suggestion. Using the model number, I found a replacement air conditioner shroud for the Coleman model series 6759 at a local RV shop. The shroud cost about $140.00 and the part number is 8333-4171.
