Replacement fridge or cooling unit
Was wondering if anyone had any tips on where to find a cheap replacement for my fridge or the cooling unit it popped a leak somewhere and is dumping amonia I'm also open to fixing it if anyone has any idea as to a safe way to fix the issue right now I have a dometic silhouette 2 way lp 110 fridge and a very limited budget. But me and the wife are full timers so I need to have a fridge any tips or guidance would be much appreciated

Year, make and model of your rig will help.
A residential fridge wiil likely be the cheapest way to go, but will limit where you can stay.
Good luck.

Residential I can't really consider a viable option we usually are nowhere near hookups and running our generator that much isn't usually an option either both financially and due to noise
It's a 1993 sunnybrooke 27 fk

Yea it's a 93 trailer I just know i can't realistically afford any options I've currently found new I'd be lucky to afford a standard fridge my problem being running power for it vs propane isn't really an option so I'm kinda stuck I gotta find a cheap replacement or repair part that enables me to still use propane unless I can magically afford to go solar which would be so nice yet again financially out of reach also

Where are you located, I am taking out a Dometic DM2672 from my 2021 MH and replacing it with an Everchill 12v all electric. I am doing this on the 20th in Quartzite.

TK0608, there's an offer you should jump on.
Likely you will have to modify your opening, but you will have a brand new fridge.

If your present fridge has adequate capacity for your needs then I would consider the 12VDC compressor-type cooling unit from JC Refrigeration!

1993 Dometic Silhouette Fridge
Highly doubt any replacement cooling units...absorption or HAVAC available
IIRC the Silhouette Models weren't produced after 2003/2004

I'm down in Utah and I openly admit I have no idea where that is but that definitely sounds like a option I wouldn't mind going with.

Right now I have a 1821 or something in that series so. Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the 2600 be just a smidgen smaller?

DM 2672
Specifications: 54.65" H 24.9" W 24.0" D
S1821 59 5/8H, 23 1/2W, 24 D
With some mods/trim work the DM2672 would fit
Quartzite is in S/W AZ

Well hopefully I can work out getting it then adding a little trim isn't a big deal haven't been able to get in contact with the poster that offered it. Yet so fingers crossed
