Replacing Dimensions MSW inverter

Hi,

My 2008 Itasca has a 600w Dimensions MSW inverter. Has anyone swapped this out a PSW inverter? Is there a drop in replacement?

I already have changed out the Converter for a 4 stage model when I got new batteries.

I also have a 400w portable PSW inverter which I bought for m thg old coach.

Thanks,

Essentially all inverters are configuration compatible, but that does not mean the wiring is up to the load and/or capacity of the replacement converter. A typical 600 watt inverter produces 9 amps peak and 5 amps constant of 120 VAC and a draw of around 60 amps 12 VDC.
An 800 watt inverter produces 15 amps of 120 VAC, and has a draw of 80 amps 12 VDC.
You will want a load and draw calculation, and then a wiring evaluation and capacity analysis, before considering a change to avoid potential of overloaded circuits.

Hi,

At present it's only used for Tv/Playstation 3 and an electric blanket.

I am not going to change it now but if dies I want to replace it with a PSW inverter.
