Replacing or Fixing Atwood Level Legs on Tiffin Allegro Bay

I have a Tiffin 2007 Allegro Bay that use Atwood Levellegs. I have repaired these several times but now seem to have a unique issue.

I am considering looking for a replacemnet system. However if I could fix mine I'd be happy with that too. My problem is that the screw in the leg that lifts the rig seems to be siezed and I can't seem to get it to move up and out of the lower leg. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'd also entertain replacement ideas and if anyone has doen this themselves as I am pretty handy and am not too worried about doing the work myself.

Had that occur on one of ours. Took cover of the top and found one of the gears had broken and jammed the other gears.

I have a 2006 Tiffin Pheyton.

I went with Bigfoot, rated at 17k each.
Atwood rear is 10k and front 7.5K.

Kind of pricey at 6K installed, but I couldn’t be happier. I had them installed at the factory in Michigan.

Mine isn't in the gearbox, it is in the lower leg. The "screw drive" or whatever it called is siezed and won't turn on its own.

I have a 2006 Tiffin Allegro Bay with Atwood Levelegs. The failure mode is that the transmission output shaft spiral fractures. This transmission shaft drives the single(7.5T) or double(10T) jack screws. I've had a local machine shop build me more of these shafts using 4140 steel. Hopefully this will resolve the shaft failures as the original part is mild steel. Otherwise, the jacks work well.

Mine is mounted on the upper portion of the right front compartment that contains the switches.
