Residential refrigerator in my RV (when and how long should vent fan run )

I bought my RV and it has a residential refrigerator in it. It has a vent fan on the outside, how often should the fan run?

First off, Welcome to IRV2!

If you are talking about the fan on the back of the fridge it will run any time the compressor is running. With some fridges that may be continuous depending on the ambient temperature.
