rv faucet repair?

I have an old Holiday Rambler travel trailer and the faucet in the kitchen sink came undone and water squirted everywhere. We are boondocking and it will be a while until I can replace the whole unit. In the meanwhile I've semi repaired or totally repaired the mess.
There is a black threaded about 1/2 inch protrusion that fits down into the faucet, there is a white half round split coupling that I have also attached and a round screw down clamp that I've put back together.
I would like to know if this is right before I buy a replacement. It seems to be working fine.
Anyone interested can image google rv faucet repair and the first picture is the faucet I'm talking about. Thanks.

faucet

You may have repaired it, but how long will the repair last??. Replacement faucets are not expensive. Check garage sales or Craigslist. The mounting holes are all the same. Flexible tubing makes "hook-up" easy. I would rather take 15 minutes replacing, then worrying about how long the repair will last.

Any faucet from Lowe's or Home Depot should fit just fine and can be much more stylish and safe from leaks.

replaced my leaking kitchen faucet with one from wally world and it looks and works great! went from a three hole to a one hole and filled the empty holes with a filtered cold water spigot and a soap dispenser.

Thanks everyone. I have it fixed for the moment and will replace it as soon as I get back to civilization.
