Samsung 197 residential fridge problem

The Samsung has been in my coach three years this weekend. When I started having water in bottom of fridge I put the longer defrost clips in and the problem stopped. Now one and one half years later I am again getting water inside bottom of fridge. The fridge is loaded correctly and inside vents are not blocked. Anyone had this problem return after installing the longer defrost clips? I'm stumped. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Think you should check and insure the defrost tray has no ice in it. If it does but is melted around the drain hole, the drain tube might be clogged. You might try blowing it out with compressed air - that might get rid of the blockage if there is one. There is no way there should be water in the freezer if the drain is working and nothing else is broken such as the ice maker supply valve. Good luck and let us know what you found.

Yep, out stick house had the same problem, drain tube opening gets clogged or the opening is too small.

Good luck. Our unit in the s & b, had the same issue after about 14 months. New clip made it work for a short time, then everything froze up again. Over three months, a new control module, new heating unit, new fan/motor and new cover, (which we paid for, as it was out of warranty), all to no avail. Samson was no help at all in giving the technicians advice. The dealer where we bought it really stepped up to the plate and let us choose a new unit of the same value. They said they would try to deal with Samsung. I suspect Samsung has some quality control issues, since some folks have had great luck - hope that is your case,
