Because this involves safety I thought it appropriate to renew the discussion.
There are still many Samsung microvaves that have not had the touchpad replaced. Many RVs may be 2nd hand by now and the new owners would have no idea of this fire hazard. Fortunately I ran across it recently on this forum and checked out our used TT and found it to be one of the faulty ones. I phoned Samsung, they checked their records and said it did not show as being repaired by the previous owner. They then bent over backwards to accomodate me and get it repaired.
