Thanks I did look at it I noticed he used metal and no floor, I am thinking of 5/8 plywood as I already have it. I was thinking about maybe 3/4 iinch between floor and heater. I put floor in as a test fit turned heater on let it run for over an hour with very little heat build up between floor and heater, tops I read was 82.3.

Check to see if you have the heater install manual or maybe get it online. It should indicate proper materials and clearance.

I have no idea what was wrong earlier, but all is well now. I took out the shelves and pulled the back off. I also lifted the top control panel and looked in there. I found a ground connection that was not really tight so I did tighten that. When I removed the back panel I did a continuity check with the fan and a temp sensor to make sure I had not pulled any wires loose there. Both were good. So I put it all back together and plugged it in. Refer is now 38 degrees and freezer is -2.
I wish I had some wisdom to pass along here, but there is none. I'm just happy that things are back in order.

I can hardly wait for our next trip.

Glad it is working for you. I finally got mine installed ran it for a few days. Then had to put her in storage. Sad day putting her into storage.
