Sanitizing water system

My water system has no way of filling the water tank except through a hose attach system. I want to add bleach through the pressurized hose to sanitize the water tank. How do others add bleach to the main water tank?

Set up the valves to fill the tank. Connect the hose to the MH. Pour the appropriate amount of bleach into the other hose end. Connect to faucet and turn on the water. Bleach slug will clean the hose on it's way to the tank where the water coming in will dilute to the correct level. Here is the Clorox table:

If you use a water filter at your water inlet, remove filter and pour bleach in the filter housing, reassemble, set to tank fill and turn on water..

If you opt to add the bleach through the hose and you have a water filter, be sure to remove the filter element before adding the bleach to the system.
