SC I95 causes toilet work around

A huge unavoidable bounce cracked the Dometic toilet inlet valve and we discovered the leak when we hooked the water up to the rig at the site.
The bathmat was sacrificed and I ran to get the water shut off.
Out of dumb luck I had an extra low point drain plug that fit the water feed to the toilet. With that plugged we had water at the sink and shower at least. I had a bucket that worked as a transfer tool to fill the toilet with shower water so that was back in play until I could get a new valve.
Amazon was under $20 and a nearby CW had it at $49. Amazon lockers were nearby but 2 day delivery. For $29 more it was worth it to keep the Mrs happy. She didn't like the bucket brigade.
I walk into the CW 30 miles away the next morning, they pull the valve for me and we start to check out. The clerk bills it at $20 more than their website. I got that straight but when you have to go there check your prices beforehand. I wonder if they get paid commission.

I got educated the same way at Camping Whirl. My car dolly straps grew legs at a CG in NM. Checked for availability at CW but they were $34-40 higher at the store.

Lesson learned. As a rule I do try to avoid darkening their entry door.

My wife would have ordered it from Amazon. No wasted time and money on a 60 mile round trip.

Not enough room above the floor but I will certainly add one below the floor before we head home in a month.
