Sewer connection question

Hi all. My brother just bought a used destination trailer in New York and will be delivering it to my home in AZ. It's a front kitchen and I'm thinking it has two sewer valves. I had a 5er with rear kitchen and it had two. He doesn't know anything about rving and isn't near the trailer to find out if there's two. If there are two, is it possible to connect the two together using hard house plumbing lines so they won't have to have the long sewer lines on the ground? His is a 13 heartland country ridge and I can't find any info on the sewer. Thanks

Do not see what not, as long as you have adequate slope. Saw a fifth wheel trailer recently who did just that. Besides downloading the brochure from Heartland, suggest contacting Heartland customer service with the VIN number to obtain sewer system schematic or confirmation of number of sewer connection points.

If in fact it does have dual sewer outlets, you could get one of the "Y" connectors like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Camco-39812-R...a-435670940344

Then just get a couple of short sewer hoses to go from the "Y" to each sewer outlet and then just have the one main line running to the dump port.

That's what I did with my 5er, but I was trying to avoid using those flimsy soft hoses and looking to use hard pipes. The rv isn't going to be moved so I was thinking about something that attaches to the outlet valve on the kitchen sewer valve and connect it to the bathroom sewer valve after it comes past the valve, allowing me to keep the front open and bathroom closed until time to empty. Just thought someone has set one up like this.

Lots of destination or park models do not have tanks as they are meant to be set up on a mostly permanent basis. Good chance your trailer will have a residential style toilet and not an rv style one. This means no valves, just plumb to the sewer/septic system.

Destination trailer typically have waste tank
Set up on site but trailer tongue remains in place...stays moblie

Park Models...set up permanent, tongue removed
Do not have waste tanks

Good chances OPs Destination has RV Toilet
Waste drain lines if separate can be hard piped but will still need to be connected to parks sewer opening

If the Ridge your brother bought was in Bath NY the link below could be the actual unit. If it is the ad states that is has holding tanks.

Both locations will have open/close valves and yes you can run a pipe to one location with some rerouting underneath if there are holes in the bottom of the compartments. Just need a 3 degree drop from one discharge to the main dump. You may have to flush out the tank with the open valve more often if there is two tanks because the tanks don't always empty with a single flush. They are designed to be a holding tank which requires some amount of water to empty.
